Product Description
MT3608 Step-Up Boost Converter Module Explanation/Description: MT3608 Step-Up Boost Converter Module is a small, efficient, low-cost module used to convert voltages as low as 2V to a maximum of 28V DC with a maximum output current of 2 Amps. The output voltage can be adjusted by a variable resistor used in the module. The number of components used in this module is very less and the main component of the module is the MT3608 IC. MT3608 is a highly efficient step-up IC with many in-built features like over-temperature protection, low quiescent current, soft-start function, low external components, over-temperature shutdown etc. The other components used in this module are two ceramic capacitors, a variable resistor, a resistor and a Schottky diode and a 22uH inductor which is an essential part of any step-up circuit. |
Product Applications
Solar-related circuits
Portability of battery-powered devices
Power supplies
Mobile power supplies
Battery chargers
Product Usage
Where to use: MT3608 module can be used in applications where the voltage requirement is less than 28V and the current requirement is less than 2A. Therefore, this module is mainly used in portable devices such as power banks, portable power supplies, etc. Moreover, it can also be used in educational projects due to its low cost. |
How to use: Using MT3608 module is very simple, by looking at the pinout described in the above figure, you can connect the input voltage from 2V to 24V DC. The input source can be a battery or solar cell or any other available source. After connecting the input voltage, take a digital multimeter, select 28V above from the digital multimeter voltage selection panel, connect the digital multimeter from the output voltage point of the module, and then adjust the variable resistor until the multimeter displays the output voltage you want. |
