Product Overview
The TPA3118 device is a highly efficient Class-D audio amplifier that integrates 120mΩ and allows output currents up to 7.5A. The device can be configured for either master or slave operation by using the SYNC pin, which helps prevent audible beats and prevents audible beat noise. An internal ADC is used to detect 8 input states. The first four stages set the GAIN to a gain of 20, 26, 32, 36 dB in master mode, respectively, while the subsequent four stages set the GAIN to a gain of 20, 26, 32, 36 dB in master mode, respectively. |
The TPA3118 features a shutdown mode of operation designed to reduce supply current to an absolute minimum level during periods of non-use power conservation. |
The TPA3118 includes a full set of carefully designed protection circuits to improve system design efficiency and protect the device from any permanent faults due to short circuits, overloads, overtemperature, and undervoltage. |
Interface diagram
The interface is very simple. Connect the Power and audio input together. Users can connect speakers directly at the amplifier output.
